This series contains materials created and used by McGann while teaching at Berklee. Items of note include “The Guitar Tablature Reader’s Guide to Standard Notation,” written by McGann in 1990, dossiers submitted to Berklee when applying for a promotion within the college, and lesson materials in Celtic music and bluegrass. This series is arranged chronologically.

This series contains materials relating to a wide variety of Berklee events, from on-campus performances to ensembles, to annual Berklee trips to Nashville, Puerto Rico, and Los Angeles. Within this series, there is a subseries dedicated to the Visiting Artist Series at Berklee, including files about visits by noteworthy musicians such as Chick Corea and Toshiko Akiyoshi.

The Faculty Artist series contains concerts and clinics that were labeled as part of the "Faculty Artist Series" by Berklee's Video Services department.

This series consists of records relating to other events organized by the Brass department from 1980-1999, including clinics, talks, classes, performances, and events by visiting musicians, including and beyond those officially considered to belong to the Visiting Artist program series. This series primarily includes flyers, announcements, and programs.
